This building located in Belém, at the entrance of the River Tagus, is the best example of Manueline architecture and the most notable 16th century monastery in Portugal. The cloisters, which were finished in 1544, are one of its distinguishing features.
The decorative elements of the cloisters - where Silva Carvalho Catering has already held several events - are symbols of the art of navigation and sculptures of exotic plants and animals.
The monument is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage, and on 7th July 2007, was elected as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.
There is an ideal space for every event. That's why we have an exclusive and varied range of venues.
