The National Palace of Mafra, also known as Convento de Mafra, is a Portuguese national monument, located in Mafra, about 50 km from Lisbon. The ""Real Edifício de Mafra"" is inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 2019, comprising the Royal Palace, the Basilica, a Convent, the Jardim do Cerco and a vast park.
An exponent of Portuguese Baroque, it is one of the largest buildings built in this style in Europe. In the rooms of this imposing monument, gala dinners, cocktails or business receptions can be served. To accompany, a carillon or organ concert, or even the recreation of living paintings from the 18th / 19th centuries, with period animation.
